Baby Ruth Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 3/4 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/3 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 2 Baby Ruth Candy Bars
Steps
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth
- Beat in egg and vanilla
- Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
- Stir dry ingredients into butter mixture until well blended.
- Cut candy bars into small pieces.
- Gently fold in candy.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Drop dough by half teaspoonful on air-bake cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
Notes
- Chill candy bar for 10-20 minutes to minimize melting while cutting.
- Makes 50-75 cookies.
