Baked Flounder Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Flounder Filets
  • 1 Tb Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbs Butter, plus some for pan
  • 1 Tbs Flour
  • Dash Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Seasoned Fish Fry

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Butter baking pan.
  3. Place flounder in baking pan.
  4. Drizzle lemon juice on flounder.
  5. Sprinkle paprika over fish.
  6. Melt butter in a small pot over low heat.
  7. Stir flour into butter.
  8. Add salt and pepper.
  9. Cook mixture for a minute.
  10. Stir in milk until fairly smooth.
  11. Spread gravy over fish.
  12. Top flounder with fish fry breader.
  13. Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F.

Notes

  • Use seasoned breadcrumbs instead of seasoned fish fry.
