Overnight Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Roll Ingredients
- 2 Large Egg Yolks
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 Tbs Sugar
- 3 Tbs Butter
- 3 Oz. Milk
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 1/4 Tsp Yeast
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
Filling Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Lt Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tbs Butter, melted
- Pinch Salt
Icing Ingredients
- 2 Tbs Cream Cheese
- 1 1/2 Tbs Milk
- 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 Tsp Vanilla
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, butter, sugar, and milk.
- Stir in yeast, salt, and a cup of flour.
- Mix in enough of the remaining flour to form a dough that is firm & moist, but not sticky.
- Flour a surface for kneading the dough.
- Knead the dough for 8 minutes. The dough will be smooth and elastic.
- Spray a bowl with cooking spray or coat with vegetable oil.
- Place dough in oiled bowl.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap.
- Go do something fun for 2 hours!
- Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, & salt in a small bowl.
- Place dough on a floured surface.
- Punch down the dough to get most of the air bubbles out.
- Roll dough out into a 9″x12″ sheet.
- Brush dough with mellted butter.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on dough.
- Roll the dough up starting from the 9″ side.
- Pinch and crimp the seam.
- Butter an 8″ pan, preferably glass.
- Cut the dough into 6 sliced.
- Arrange the slices in the buttered pan.
- Cover with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Turn your oven on warm.
- Put the rolls in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the rolls.
- Heat the oven to 350.
- Bake the rolls in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Whisk together the cream cheese, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Whisk in the powdered sugar slowly.
- Cool rolls for 3-5 minutes before frosting.
