Brown Sugar Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter, softened
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 3 Cups AP Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tsp Maple Extract

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease & flour 10″ tube pan.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat eggs in, one at a time.
  5. Mix extracts into mixture.
  6. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl.
  7. Add dry ingredients and milk to wet mixture, alternating
  8. Pour mixture into 10″ tube pan.
  9. Bake for 75 minutes.
  10. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
