Unbeatable Cookies

Ingredients

2 Cups Powdered Sugar, sifted
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
4 Egg Whites, unbeaten
2 Cups Pecans, chopped
1/2 Cup Dried Apricots, chopped

Steps

Preheat oven to 325°F.
Sift together sugar, flour, and baking powder.
Beat in egg whites until smooth, 2 – 3 minutes.
Stir in nuts and apricots.
Chill for 5 minutes.
Drop onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 to 18 minues.

Granny Ann’s Cracked Sugar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 Cup Shortening
1 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
2 Tsp Cream of Tartar
2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt

Steps

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cream shortening and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla.
Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
Mix dry ingredients into the wet, a quarter at a time.

Cake Mix Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

1 Box Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil

Steps

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Combine ingredients.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Use your favorite cake mix.
Add chocolate chips, nuts, and/or raisins.
If the dough is too wet, add a little flour.
If the dough is too dry, add a little more vegetable oil.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Cup White Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1/4 Cup Milk
1 2/3 Cups Rolled Oats
1 Cup Raisins
1 1/2 Cup AP Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cinnamon

Steps

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Stir egg and milk into mixture.
Rinse raisins.
Fold in oats and raisins.

Baby Ruth Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Butter
3/4 Cup White Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1 1/3 Cups Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Baby Ruth Candy Bars

Steps

Cream butter and sugar until smooth
Beat in egg and vanilla
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
